Flares

GCES Designs, Engineers and Manufactures Flares for Every Combustion Need

Flares are control devices used to safely combust unwanted process waste gas streams and are essential for safe plant operation and the abatement of routine emissions. Being an innovative designer of environmental low flow, sonic, utility flare systems and more, Gulf Coast Environmental Systems can provide you with a cost effective, turn-key gas flare solution that will more than satisfy any requirements.

FLARE PILOTS & FLARE IGNITORS

Flare pilots and spark igniters are specifically designed for production field and gas plant flares. The robust design and simple operation make them ideal for remote unmanned locations. These ignition systems replace traditional flame front generator pilots and all of the problems associated with FFG systems.

Trailer Flare

TRAILER FLARES

Trailer Flare Systems are a convenient method of burning waste gases from pipelines, well sites and storage facilities. Each trailer is completely self contained. A solar panel supplies power for the pilot, ignition system and pilot monitoring controls. Standard size propane tanks maintain a constant pilot flame.

High Pressure Flare

HIGH PRESSURE AIR FLARE

Does your existing flare smoke? Have trouble meeting environmental compliance regulations? Do neighbors complain about soot and odor? Retrofit your existing flare stack with a GCES High Pressure Air (HPA) flare tip.

Low Flow Flares

LOW FLOW FLARES

Many wellhead and tank battery sites have low gas emission rates, but are sufficiently large to require hydrocarbon emission control. The GCES Low Flow Flare is designed for these small flare applications.

Low Pressure Air Assist

LOW PRESSURE AIR ASSIST

Low pressure air is an excellent method for smoke free combustion of heavier gas streams. The flare gas and blower air flow coaxially to the flare tip where they mix. The blower air provides a significant portion of the stoichiometric air required for combustion and generates sufficient mixing turbulence to eliminate smoke formation.

Sonic Flares

SONIC FLARES

Sonic flares are a unique type of high pressure flare tip. A sonic flare uses the flare gas pressure to eliminate smoke, lower flame radiation and shorten the flame length. Sonic flares can reduce capital costs with lower stack heights and a smaller flare header size.

Steam Assist Flares

STEAM ASSIST FLARES

If your plant has a steam boiler, a steam assisted flare is the ideal method for smoke free flaring. Compared to air assisted flares, steam flares have a lower capital cost and a wider operating range.

Surplus Flares

SURPLUS FLARES

GCES specializes in fast delivery projects. Normally, we can design and fabricate a new flare within the project schedule. But we keep a list of surplus flares that could be used for emergency situations.

Tank Battery Flares

TANK BATTERY FLARES

Fast Delivery – Normal delivery is six weeks. Emergency delivery can be ONE DAY! GCES maintains stock items for fast assembly and shipment.

High Quality – We don’t cut corners with material or fabrication quality. American made with American know how. Our shop has fabricated hundreds of these tank battery flares and thousands of pilot systems. They work. We guarantee it.

Utility Flares

UTILITY FLARES

The main purpose of a utility flare is to safely ignite the flare gas at any flow rate and under any environmental condition. This basic flare design is often the most appropriate solution to emergency flaring applications and for light natural gas vents. A utility flare tip can be as simple as an open pipe with flame stabilizers or as complex as a variable orifice sonic flare tip.

Truck Loading Flares

TRUCK LOADING FLARES

Some production facilities lack a pipeline to move the product and elect to truck the condensate out of the storage tanks. GCES Truck Loading Flares are designed to safely dispose of the vapors from the truck loading operation.
