Gulf Coast Environmental Systems Names New Operations Manager – Mexico & Latin America
Monterrey, MX – Gulf Coast Environmental Systems is pleased to introduce Mr. Antonio Macias as its new Operations Manager – Mexico & Latin America. Mr. Macias has nearly 30-years of experience in project management, plant operations, sales, and environmental planning; proving himself as a well-rounded environmental professional. Recent issues with industrial pollution in cities like Poza Rica, Queretaro, Mexico City, and Monterrey have been highlighted and scrutinized in the newspapers; accounts of industrial pollution causing respiratory and skin problems have prompted regulatory agencies like SEMARNAT to take action, and issue warning to companies in State of Nuevo León and to the municipal governments of Apodaca, Cadereyta Jiménez, El Carmen; García, General Escobedo, Guadalupe, Juarez, Monterrey, Salinas Victoria, San Nicolas de los Garza, and Santa Catarina. This has prompted Gulf Coast Environmental Systems to open operation in Monterrey, and build a team of Mexican engineers and support.
With the addition of Mr. Macias, GCES continues to grow its Mexico-based team and offices, reinforcing their commitment to delivering industry-leading pollution control solutions throughout Mexico and Latin America, and supporting the unique needs and challenges of the region.
