Preventative Maintenance Evaluation (PME)

Many of our PME'S are adjusted to fit the needs of each client, but Gulf Coast Environmental Systems is capable of a complete inspection of all thermal oxidation technologies. This includes electrical and mechanical inspections inside and outside of each piece of equipment. PME'S have many advantages.

1) Helps reassure the customer of a properly operating air pollution control system.

2) Can save extensive operating expenses by being able setup the unit to run most efficiently.

3) Minimizes chances of a nuisance shut-down often causing thousands, if not millions, of dollars in lost operating time.

Media Change-Outs

In order to run your oxidizer at maximum efficiency, it is necessary to change out the ceramic media inside every 5 to 10 years depending on your application. Gulf Coast Environmental has years of experience in making sure this process goes smoothly.

Another option is to add catalyst to your ceramic. If fuel consumption is a concern, Gulf Coast can convert your current RTO to a RCO or Regenerative Catalytic Oxidizer. By adding a metal catalyst, VOC abatement occurs at a lower temperature and thus less fuel is required to reach the destruction point.

Engineering & Efficiency Studies

GCE Systems can perform a thorough review of current operating conditions of your Thermal Oxidizer(s).  Through this study, GCE shall be able to recommend and perform improvements to the equipment to boost efficiencies.  This detailed engineering evaluation can greatly improve plant production and increase margins.
